Get Legitimately Verified™ For An Emotional Support Animal Letter for Travel.
The Air Carrier Access Act prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in air travel. The Department of Transportation has a rule defining the rights of passengers and the obligations of airlines under this law. This rule applies to all flights of U.S. airlines, and to flights to or from the United States by foreign airlines.
Canada's Air Transportation Regulations provide for clearer and more consistent air passenger rights by imposing certain minimum airline requirements in air travel – including standards of treatment and, in some situations, compensation for passengers.
Travelers outside the US and Canada.
For travelers journeying outside the US and Canada (e.g. Mexico City to China), please call your airline(s) to confirm they will accept emotional support animal documentation from -based providers. For years, our letters have been very successfully used across the globe, but we like better to be safe, than sorry (hence our amazing reviews).
Verifying the Need For Emotional Support Animal.
The licensed provider must provide written verification of the following:
- The passenger/client needs the assistance animal to travel as an emotional support or psychiatric service animal for air travel and/or for activity at their destination.
- The passenger/client is currently being treated for a mental health or emotional disability recognized in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
How Does It Work?
Once you place an order and complete the HIPAA- and PIPEDA-compliant intake exam, we'll connect you with -based clinical team member to verify your disability-related need for an assistance animal. When therapeutically appropriate, your clinician will issue an emotional support animal letter of recommendation for travel (and any required airline forms). Your therapist also offers continued care.
